Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka – She Be Puttin On (prod. 808 Mafia) [Official]
Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka release the second single from their “Ferrari Boyz” album entitled “She Be Puttin On” with production from 808 Mafia. In case you aren’t familiar with who 808 Mafia is, it is a duo of Lex Luger and Southside, 2 elite producers that Gucci and Flocka have done tons of work with in the past. They are good friends with these two producers and they work with each other because that’s where it started.
Lex has become more popular after releases like “H.A.M.” but his breakthrough really started when tracks of Flocka’s became more popular like “Hard In Da Paint” and “O Let’s Do It.” Side note: What’s pretty hilarious is that So Icey/1017 Brick Squad was using the lingo “H.A.M.” in their music before anyone knew what it even was. What’s really ironic is that Yeezy and Hova used it in a song produced by Lex.
Anyways, the track “She Be Puttin On” has some phenomenal production, a nice catchy chorus, and classic bars from La Flare and Flockaveli. The track is dedicated to independent women who are “puttin on.” The chorus repeats: “She be puttin on, a job, her swag, she stuntin, she pay her own bills cuz she got her own money, she the type that never ask for nothin” (It repeats with a slightly different variation between the first and second time).
There have been other leaks from the upcoming album including the track “Mud Music” which most fans think will be featured on there. The classic title track “Ferrari Boyz” is tearing up the airwaves in the south right now and breaking through across the nation. Additionally, this duo is really hyping people up with their new Ferrari Boyz album promo video that recently dropped. You all better have your calendars marked and your trunks tuned up for what’s in store.

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have done it again with the track “Ferrari Boyz” produced by the infamous Drumma Boy. This is the lead single and title track off of their upcoming album entitled “Ferrari Boyz” which is scheduled to be released June 21, 2011. Instantly, you will love this track if you are a fan of the movement that they got going with Brick Squad. The chorus on this track is one of the catchiest that the duo has come up with in a long time. This track came completely out of left field, they caught the game completely off guard with the overall sound on this one.
On the chorus they sing: “Get out my lane, Ferrari Boyz, you see the chain, So Icey Boyz, Get out my lane Ferrari Boyz, you see the chain, So Icey Boyz” (Repeat). This track originally appeared on the Waka Flocka mixtape “Salute Me or Shoot Me 3″ which was presented by Trap-A-Holics. You already know though that these two always give their fans a taste of album material on their mixtapes so that the fans know what to expect.
This track came out before the track “Mud Music” which is believed to be the follow up single to “Ferrari Boyz.” Anyways, the video below is a fan made video that was created to look as official as possible. What’s cool about the video below is that there are tons of Ferraris and it shows Gucci Mane and Flocka in the studio as well as showing their chains. You will get a sighting of Flocka’s “Fozzie Bear” chain as well as his “Pink Panther” chain. You already know that Gucci is the iciest one of them all, so expect to see tons of his jewelry when the official video does actually drop.

This is probably the hottest track of 2011 in the rap industry that people have heard in a long time. These two are taking hip hop by storm and have been for some time now. Be sure to mark your calendars for June 21st to go out and purchase a copy of the album. For now, you can listen to that “Dub Step Flocka” tape that came out and buy a copy of Gucci’s “Mr. Zone 6″ album if you haven’t yet. There are more singles on the way, but they want to make sure that the release date is confirmed before they start making a major push with the videos, promotion, etc.
