Is this Gucci Mane song going to get a lot of radio play? Probably not, but it is recognized as one of the most street tracks on his album. He also addresses The State by saying, “I gave my lawyer half a mill and told him come and get me.”

Gucci Mane always brings some solid lyrics to impress his fans saying things like “I keep Miami heat, got more straps than a gun show, run up on the kid I’ll have you mourning like Alonzo” as well as (later in the track) – “I got birds like Atlanta zoo – bitch who are you? I got goons like a scary movie – yeah that is true, And I change cars like a rich white girl change shoes.” This song is like a digital dose of energy drink, it will leave you feeling pumped up for long after hearing it. Although nearly all of his mixtapes are dope, songs like this are able to draw a clear line between album and tapes.

When an artist like Gucci puts in such hard work and does such a good job with street anthems like “Heavy,” you have got to applaud him. He deserves all of the shine that he’s been getting, especially when he makes such a strong album.
