Gucci Mane – Bitches Wanna f. Lil Wayne (prod. Bangladesh)
The song by Gucci Mane called “Bitches Wanna” featuring Lil Wayne and production from Bangladesh is another banger for the streets. The song was originally featured on DJ Storm’s “Drank Epidemic Pt. 12” mixtape. There are many quotables from both Gucci and Weezy on this track. The two artists have not done a lot of collaborations, but have managed to create an even bigger buzz for themselves when they link up. Everyone that is familiar with the mixtape scene knows that these are undeniably two of the hottest artists on the internet, in the streets, and on the radio. They both have experienced a lot of success and when they hook up for tracks, they continue to receive nothing but support from their fans.
A lot of people like the line: “I like my kush dry like a fish out of water.” The song was leaked onto YouTube on October 31, 2009 and is being used to promote DJ Storm’s mixtape. Further details regarding the song have not yet been released. Don’t get it twisted; collaborations between Gucci and Lil Wayne have been fairly rare. Of course DJ’s will continue blending verses (e.g. “College Girls Remix” that have already been released by these two in order to generate more buzz, but nothing compares to the original releases of their joints.
Both Gucci and Weezy F Baby had the streets going wild when they dropped the track “We Be Steady Mobbin” earlier in 2009. There were a lot of fans asking why they haven’t done a mixtape together already. If the two artists did link up for a mixtape, it would likely be one of the biggest releases of all time. It is really good to see some of the hottest artists coming together to drop some crazy tracks for the masses. Another song that features both Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane is the “Wasted Remix,” which will be featured on The State vs. Radric Davis album – so be sure to look out for that.
If you want to get the official version of this track, be sure to pick up a copy of DJ Storm’s “Drank Epidemic 12: I Don’t Need No Host” mixtape. If you like beats from Bangladesh, then you’ll surely have fun listening to this track. Hopefully Gucci continues to collaborate with other dope artists like he has been. He’s doing a real good job of keeping his fans impressed these days. Now check up on that track if you ain’t heard it yet.
Gucci Mane – Wasted Remix f. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Birdman
When the Gucci Mane song “Wasted” dropped, his fans went crazy. This single is a smash hit and features production from Fatboi with a guest appearance from the self-proclaimed “goon” Plies. The song quickly became the party anthem of the 2009 summer and was frequently played on mainstream radio stations across America. Since this song was so successful, Gucci Mane linked up with OJ Da Juiceman to do a So Icey Remix. Since the Juiceman hopped on the beat with Gucci, artists like Twista, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Birdman, and So Icey’s own, Waka Flocka Flame have all released verses over the beat. The official album remix for the upcoming project “The State vs. Radric Davis” is set to feature the Wasted Remix featuring Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, and Birdman; with two new verses from Gucci Mane himself.
What is the song “Wasted” all about anyways? It’s about partying, having a good time, and well… getting “wasted” (e.g. drunk). Everyone that knows Radric Davis knows that he likes to have a good time partying. The guest appearances are very fitting for the song since Lil Wayne and Birdman like to drink. Gucci really surprised everyone when he was able to link up with Jadakiss and get a verse for this joint; Al Qaida Jada brought some serious heat for this one, y’all should recognize. Most people that want good party music will need to have this song in their collection in order to get the people feeling good.
The overall vibe of the remix is positive and has a lot of energy from both the instrumental and the artists. Gucci even turns up the speed of his rapping / changes up his flow near the end of his verse to show y’all that he can sound ill rapping fast. Although the Wasted Remix has new verses and a lineup of different artists, the instrumental does not change. The original instrumental by Fatboi is fire, so Gucc saw no need to alter it for the remix.
Gucci Mane – Wasted Remix feat. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Birdman (Official)
You’ve got to honor the fact that other artists laid down some sick verses for the track and the instrumental is hot. Gucci Mane knows what it takes to make a hit and the Remix to Wasted turned out incredible. The song has gotten a lot of attention on the internet, in the streets, around college campuses, and on mainstream radio. Gucci Mane is ready to take over the game with his new music, so be sure to stay updated.
