The song “Shirt Off” by Gucci Mane featuring Frenchie and Wooh Da Kid is without a doubt one of the illest street bangers to be released in 2009. The official version of this track was featured on Gucci Mane’s “Wasted The Prequel” EP – which was released on September 4, 2009. This is track number 2 out of 6 on this project that is meant to help the fans get prepared for the release of his album “The State vs. Radric Davis.” In this song, a couple of other So Icey Boys get the spotlight and drop some solid verses. OJ Da Juice Man does his thing on the opening verse of this song, Frenchie follows, and Wooh Da Kid does his thing later.

Gucci Mane comes in on the chorus saying “I take my shirt off and all the hoes stop breathing.” If you heard this song before the six track EP that was released, it was likely that you heard it on one of Gucci’s mixtapes. Several mixtapes that feature the song “Shirt Off” include: “Gangsta Grillz: The Movie,” “Gucci La Flare 2,” “Trap Tacular,” as well as a snippet on “Wilt Chamberlain.” If you have a good collection of mixtpaes, chances are that you will have at least one that includes this banger of a track. This joint does a nice job of showcasing the rapping skills of other members of So Icey Ent. There are plenty of “BURR” in this song, so you already know that it’s some vintage Gucc. In the official music video, you will see Waka Flocka Flame and Nicki Minaj making guest appearances. As usual, Gucci Mane keeps it one hundred percent by wearing his So Icey chain. The video was directed by T. Gray for RSVP and he did a darn good job with it.

There are definitely some good looking girls in this video (as is always true with Gucci Mane videos). Most people will really like this track by Gucci because it has a strong beat and a lot of lyrical energy from the So Icey Boys.
